Gland Packing

Gland Packings are cost-efficient sealing solutions for pumps, stirring devices and as spindle sealants in control and adjustment valves. Gland Packings are made on braiding machines using different yarns and braiding techniques. These alter depending on the dimensions and packing type.
Gland packing is used extensively for the sealing and restriction of leakage of the working fluid along the stem in valves and along the shaft in the case of pumps and also for stationary duties like manhole cover sealing. The technology has developed over a period of time.
